About Us

Our Story

Rail Data Solutions Ltd was formed by Jack Brewer in 2024 to continue his work developing software solutions for the rail industry. After studying for a degree in physical geography at the University of Nottingham, focusing on machine learning and AI, Jack started working for Network Rail in 2013. During his career so far, Jack has worked in operational roles both in management and as a grade 9 signaller. Drawing on this experience, Jack has developed RouteWatch – a software tool to reduce wrong routing incidents at high risk locations.
